In keeping with the standards of ATM as a globally renowned event, the media centre will be equipped with high-quality laptops, fax machines, printers, and wireless internet access,"
said Khulood Al Thani, Marketing Director, DSF Office.
Being held from May 5 to May 8, the 2009 Arabian Travel Market is expected to attract industry players from over 100 countries in addition to a multitude of journalists from major regional and international media organisations.
"The DSF Office will provide high level of services to journalists from around the world at the ATM media centre. These include the latest communications equipment and standby personnel to assist journalists in their efforts to cover ATM 2009. It is also notable that 2009 marks the second year of a three-year agreement with ATM for sponsoring the media centre," added Khulood.
"Through this initiative, we have been able to meet journalists from across the world in person and communicate the key messages of the DSF Office apart from gaining valuable feedback. Over the past three years, we have succeeded in expanding our presence in numerous countries with the help of these media," she said.
DSS celebrates its twelfth edition this year and is gearing up to unveil a host of innovative and exciting family entertainment events for visitors, tourists, and residents. Beginning on June 11, the summer event will run until August 14, offering nine weeks of Surprises and activities for every visitor and every family.
