  • PRESS RELEASE

Visitors to the Abu Dhabi pavilion at Arabian Travel Market 2009 - the Middle East's premier travel and tourism event which takes place in Dubai next week - have the chance to win big in a competition.

The prize purse includes stays at some of the fabulous hotels being built in Abu Dhabi - including one which will overlook the Yas Island Formula One race track - courtesy of Aldar Properties, one of the emirate's leading developers and the name behind the island's redevelopment.

The lucky winner and a guest will arrive on the island via a limousine pick up from Abu Dhabi or Dubai, stay in a luxury suite overlooking Yas Island Marina and take dinner in the hotel's seafood restaurant.

The prize will come into effect after the November 1 staging in Abu Dhabi of the Etihad Formula 1 Grand Prix. Aldar is to open seven hotels on Yas Island in time to welcome Grand Prix visitors.

Another lucky winner will stay in a one of the newest hospitality concepts to arrive in the UAE capital - aloft Abu Dhabi. This 408-room property, being built at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre's (ADNEC) Capital Centre is the first aloft in the Middle East and the brand's largest property worldwide. It will open this November.

Another winner will be staying, with a guest, at Abu Dhabi's boutique onetoone retreat where they will experience the newly opened Village area- a grassed village with BBQs and a chance to relax in an informal setting.

The final prize will be a romantic cruise, for two, along Abu Dhabi's magnificent waterfront with spectacular Abu Dhabi city views compliments of Al Masaood Travel & Service.

Prizes will be drawn as the show closes on Wednesday 6th, Thursday 7th and consumer day on Friday 8th with winners being notified by phone or email.

Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) is celebrating its fifth ATM appearance this year - coinciding with the authority's fifth anniversary year - and at 1,300 square metres the Abu Dhabi pavilion will be the show's largest - and the biggest ADTA has ever mounted with more than 40 sharing organizations.
