Dubailand to showcase landmark developments at Arabian Travel Market 2009

Dubailand the landmark tourism, leisure and entertainment destination and a member of Tatweer, today announced it will showcase 17 of its world-class attractions, five of which are already operational, at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2009.

The landmark attractions currently welcoming visitors at phase one of Dubailand include Dubai Autodrome in MotorCity, Dubai Outlet Mall in Outlet City, Global Village, Al Sahra Desert Resort and Dubai Sports City featuring The Ernie Els Golf Club, the Butch Harmon School of Golf and the Cricket Stadium.

Dubailand's host of top-notch attractions that offer visitors a variety of exciting entertainment options and incredible value for money received eight million visitors in 2008. With more than 20 mega projects in the pipeline, Dubailand is poised to be the premier leisure and entertainment destination in the region.

Encompassing an area of 800 sq. meters at the Zabeel Hall in Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre from 5-8 May 2009, Dubailand will showcase nine world-class attractions designed and developed by Tatweer including The Tiger Woods Dubai, Universal Studios Dubailand, Bawadi, Global Village, Marvel Dubailand, Dreamworks Dubailand, Six Flags Dubailand, Legoland Dubailand and Freej Dubailand.

Eight investor projects at the destination including Dubai Sports City, Al Sahra Desert Resort, Dubai Lifestyle City, City of Arabia, Dubai Golf City, MotorCity, Dubai Outlet Mall and The Palmarosa, will also be highlighted at the region's leading travel and tourism event.

In 2008, the Arabian Travel Market welcomed a total of 16,271 visitors, including industry experts and analysts, as well as leading operators from the regional and international travel and tourism landscape.
