53 volunteers were awarded appreciation certificates from Tawam Hospital for their outstanding efforts in charity work and for their enrolment in the two month 'Leave a Mark' program.

The objective of the 'Leave a Mark' program is to give patients all the emotional and physical support they require to feel more comfortable during their stay at Tawam Hospital.

The volunteers, ranging from high school students to working executives, were assigned a number of positions, such as customer services, meet & greet and rehabilitation.

"The enthusiasm and eagerness of the volunteers is overwhelming," said Mr. Saeed Al Kuwaity, Chief Financial Officer, Tawam Hospital.

"This program was tailored by our HR department to benefit the volunteers and our patients. For the volunteers looking to pursue a career in this industry, they will gain hands-on diverse experience within one of the most renowned hospitals in the region. At the same time, our patients will have extra support from their family, Tawam staff and these volunteers."
