Headquartered in Chengdu, China, HS is a joint venture by Huawei and Symantec dedicated towards R&D, sales, and services in the field of network security and storage, and seeks to provide global users with optimal products and solutions for information security and storage.
Mindware officials have revealed that they will be focusing on HS hardware and software products that address security domain partitioning, unified threat management, online behaviour management, bandwidth restriction, management service continuity, backing-up, unified auditing and intrusion detection.
At present, HS storage and network security products are used by over 100 carriers and numerous industries in more than 40 countries and regions, including British Telecom, Deutsche Telekom, Telefonica, FT/Orange, SingTel, China Telecom, China Netcom, China Mobile, China Unicom, China TieTong, in addition to clients within the government, finance, energy, communication, health, education and SMB sectors.
