Minister-President of the German State of Heseen visits Sabic

Minister-President of the German State of Hessen, Roland Koch, visited Sabic headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on May 3.

The delegation met with Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thenayan Al-Saud, Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu and Chairman of Sabic; Mohamed Al-Mady, Sabic Vice Chairman and CEO; and senior officials of the company.

The visit came as part of the official visit of Koch to the Kingdom from April 30 to May 4. His delegation included officials, senior business people, economists and members of the news media. The visit aimed at developing trade and economic relations between the two countries.

The visitors listened to a presentation reflecting Sabic's growth and evolution, as well as the advanced state of Saudi petrochemical industries and achievements in the large industrial cities of Jubail and Yanbu. They also viewed a film documenting the success of Sabic.

The guests toured the Sabic permanent exhibition, which tells the story of its inception, various stages of growth, and growing contribution to the national development plans.

Sabic's business operations in Germany are conducted by its subsidiary, Sabic Europe.
