- Middle East: Monday, May 04 - 2009 at 09:10
Mike Devereux, president of General Motors Middle East Operations has said the automaker's regional sales fell 19% in Q1 2009. Devereux said restructuring of GM in the United States would not stand in the way of regional expansion. 'We will be profitable this year too, but much less so than last year,' Devereux said. GM sold 144,485 units in the region last year.
