CGC title sponsor of MES School Sports Festival

Consolidated Gulf Co (CGC), the IT, telecom and engineering conglomerate and the Nokia partner for Qatar, has signed as the title sponsor of the inaugural MES School Sports Festival (MESF).

The month-long festival is being held at the MES school campus in Doha in which current and former students, faculty members and their families are participating in strength.

The games, including football, basketball, cricket and volleyball, are being conducted every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Anil Mahajan, Chief Operating Officer of CGC, wished success to the MESF participants and organisers.

He said:
"As part of our CSR programmes, we always support various meaningful activities which help in the overall growth of society, specially the younger generation, who are the backbone of society at large. Schools in Qatar are playing a major role in spreading quality education to equip the youth with knowledge and skills to contribute to the growth and development of the country."


On the occasion, Fazil Hameed, MESF Organizing Committee Chairman, thanked CGC for coming forward to support sports activities thus contributing to the cause of healthy and active living. "We are really happy to get support from the leading technology solution provider and appreciate its support for the young generation."
