PepsiCo launches Mazzik program to showcase Jordanian musical talent

The opportunity is now available for all musical talents to achieve their dream; through PepsiCo-Jordan's new "Mazzik" program.

The program, which is the first of its kind in Jordan, targets musical singing and playing talents an aims to produce two musical bands, one for Arabic music and the other for English music.

PepsiCo will be offering each team the unique opportunity to record their first song in Beruit and receive a JD 10,000 financial prize.

The program will be presented by Jordanian star Bashar Ghazawi, who is very popular among Jordanian youth because of his musical success in popular competitive programs.

The competition will be broadcasted on Radio Fann FM and Energy FM. For those who wish to participate in the competition, send the word "Pepsi" in English or Arabic via SMS.

On this occasion, Mr. Tuncer Akgun, PepsiCo's General Manager, addressed promising Jordanian talent:
"We urge all those with musical talent to compete in this exciting competition, and we are hoping that it will provide a healthy platform for talents to express themselves through their unique musical gifts. This program is a continuation of PepsiCo's support to art and music, and we are filled with anticipation for the results of the "Mazzik with Pepsi" program which we believe will unveil a wide array of creative talents. We are confident in the large talent pool that Jordan holds, and we realize the importance of supporting and encouraging them to move forward."
