Oman Air's digital campaign by Wunderman wins silver at the 5th Pan Arab Web Awards

The "Fly free to London" campaign of Oman Air designed by Wunderman Oman received the second prize in the airlines category at the recently concluded 5th Pan Arab Web Awards ceremony held at the Burj Al Arab Hotel, Dubai.

Commenting on the achievement, Mohammed Al Shikely, Senior Manager Marketing at Oman Air said:
"the award is a recognition of our efforts at utilizing the most innovative marketing strategies to reach our customer base. This bears testimony to our constant endeavour to lead the way and we compliment our agency, Wunderman for their contribution to this success."


Receiving the award, Rajesh Raman Vice President, The Holding Group,said "We are delighted to win this award as it underscores the quality of our agency's work on a regional level. And we are particularly proud that it is for Oman Air, who are the leading client for our Oman office."

The Pan Arab Web Awards was created to recognize excellence in web design, development and web ownership skills to showcase their creativity in a competition for the best websites and digital communication, covering the entire Pan-Arab region. Hundreds of entries from over 20 countries in the Middle East and North African region were received, making it the largest Pan Arab Awards held till date.

For the fifth year The Pan Arab Web Awards Committee organized the Awards in association with Microsoft, MSN Mena and BSA.

The Pan Arab Web Awards was created to recognize excellence in web design, development and web ownership skills to showcase their creativity in a competition for the best website in the Pan Arab Region.

They aim to serve as an inspiration, archive and at the same time reward to web creators. It also aims to promote the innovative spirit of web designers to meet professional and international standards, to promote intellectual and production opportunities, as well as to develop an interactive proactive and reactive community that aims at providing recognition to this e-sector in the most superlative way.
