Eng. Muhannad Ebwini, General Manager of OneCard received the award during the function, which also saw OneCard's Chairman Eng. Rashid Al-Ballaa being named as 'IT Man of the Year' in recognition of his contributions to the region's IT sector.

Launched in 2004 as the first product of its kind in Saudi Arabia, OneCard has emerged as the most comprehensive online payment solution in the Middle East and North Africa. In early 2008 OneCard was certified as an e-payment services provider and currently is regarded as one of the most popular online gaming portals. OneCard's operations presently span the GCC countries, Egypt, the Levant, Iran and North Africa.

Commenting on the award, Eng. Muhannad Ebwini said:

"This award is a recognition for the hard work and commitment of the entire OneCard team, and I am certain that this will further motivate us to make our portal even more appealing to our fast growing user base. Looking ahead, we are planning to leverage latest technologies to incorporate more features into the portal."

OneCard is a subsidiary of National Net Ventures (N2Ventures), the company that handles internet-related operations under National Technology Group (NTG), the Middle East's largest information and communications technology company.
