National Paints celebrates 40 years anniversary and launches its new colors catalogues for 2009/2010

Celebrating 40 years anniversary, National Paints, the leading company in the paint industry launched a series of activities in and outside of Egypt, where Amman, Capital of Jordan has witnessed a great carnival under the patronage of Governor of Amman, Eng. Omar Al Maany, attended by the Italian Ambassador in Jordan, Francesco Franzoni.

Mr. Michael Sayegh, Chairman of National Paints and Chairman of Al Sayegh Group, gave a presentation about the company's latest products and colors innovation, titled 'Life Styles'.

The company has also announced the launch of their new colors catalogues for 2009/2010 that include the latest color innovations chosen and applied by the Italian artist Luciano Merlini who also attended the celebration.

Commenting on the occasion, Michael Sayegh said; "I'm really pleased by this carnival we're having here today to celebrate two important occasions. First, it's been 40 years on the company's foundation, and second, is the launch of our new colors catalogues for 2009/2010."

Mr. Sayegh added; "The new catalogues show unique and modern color groups that include seven different styles and express the latest international color fashion which were chosen and coordinated to suit all tastes and different life styles."

National Paints keeps pace with the latest developments in the paint industry, in addition to offering the latest global fashion in colors, National Paints works continuously to develop new products.

National Paints was first established in the year 1969, and today ranks 23rd amongst the world's 100 largest producers of paint and coatings, the 15th amongst the 50 largest producers of paint in Europe.

It is the largest paint producer in the Middle East and ranks number one, with total production capacity exceeding 330 million liters of paint per year. With such a production record National Paints is considered a leading provider of high quality paint products.

National Paints currently owns 15 factories spread across the world, launching first in Jordan and then onto the United Arab Emirates (UAE). National Paints' Factory in Sharjah UAE is considered the largest production complex for paint products and related material in the Middle East and the Arab World.

Thereon National Paints spread its operations to Qatar, Sudan, Palestine, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Oman, Romania, and Egypt. Its products are exported to over 60 countries worldwide. In addition, has also showrooms spread across Russia, Syria, Lebanon and India.
