Toshiba opens its first flagship store in the Middle East

A global leader in consumer electronics Toshiba, in partnership with its sole distributor in the UAE Al Futtaim Electronics, formally opens its first flagship store at Dubai Festival City, United Arab Emirates.

Showing true committment to the region and to the future the new store is the Middle East's first dedicated Toshiba retail environment.

"The opening of Toshiba's first flagship store in the Middle East further underscores our commitment to innovation and offers our valued customers the latest technologies and products from the brand they have always trusted," states Yasuyoshi Matsunaga, President, Toshiba Gulf.

Featuring an elegant white interior, the store carries a selection from the Toshiba product portfolio ranging from televisions, laptops, projectors, DVD players, PC options and peripherals. Customers will be able to browse through the latest Toshiba technology on offer in a unique, specialised outlet.

The new Toshiba store marks a milestone in the four-decade history of Toshiba's involvement in the region and attests to the success of Toshiba since it first began business in the Middle East in 1963.

Vishesh Bhatia, Group Director - Electronics, Engineering & Technologies, Al-Futtaim said the wonderful experience of working together all these years has cemented a strong relationship between Al-Futtaim and Toshiba.
