The One already had plenty to shout about after being short-listed in all four categories they entered for the annual RetailME Awards. However, scooping the title of Lifestyle Retailer of the Year for the fourth time was indeed something very special!

The category was open to all stores in the Middle East region that offer lifestyle products, but the Always Different, Always Limited and Never Expensive home fashion brand proved yet again that their creative and unique approach to lifestyle retailing is a sure recipe for success.

The One, which beat finalists Marks & Spencer, S*uce and Bauhaus, was awarded the prestigious prize for continually providing 'quality and specialty products, reasonable prices and effective customer service'.

"It's an unbelievable honor to win the Lifestyle Retailer award four times in a row! What are the chances of that happening? You know, we're in a recession now, which has forced us all to stop and focus on what matters, especially real Customer Service, which Dubai can use more of. So look out guys, next year, with our Service with Heart programme, we'll be walking off with the Customer Service Initiative of the Year award too"

said Thomas Lundgren, founder and CEO (Chief Emotional Officer) of The One, upon accepting the Lifestyle Retailer award.

The RetailME Awards showcase and celebrate the outstanding performance of regional and international retailers and brands including achievements in marketing, customer service and loyalty programmes, store design and innovative concepts as well as exceptional retailers in various retail segments.
