Spa Al Aqah announces new partnership with French company, Phytomer at ATM

Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort in Fujairah today announced, during Arabian Travel Market 2009, an overhaul of its product range for Spa Al Aqah, strengthening the resort's position as the ideal getaway for relaxation and pampering.

The new range complements the spa's treatment techniques that are specially designed to address specific body and mind conditions and to give powerful results whilst reawakening the senses.

The natural products are the hallmark of Phytomer. Phytomer, which means 'plants of the sea', was founded in Saint-Malo in France in 1971.

The marine-based cosmetology products company is present in 70 countries. The strength of the products is safe and healthy skin care, and Phytomer creates them from the natural material to finished product stage to ensure the highest quality.

Spa Al Aqah has become a haven for both hotel guests and day visitors, with a varied range of treatments ranging from Ayurveda to Aromatherapy, Reflexology, and Eastern and European-style massages.

The Phytomer range includes personalized professional face and body treatments and overall relaxation packages. As the spa is increasingly catering to men, the range also offers the benefit of products and relaxation treatments designed specifically for men. 'Phytomer Homme' is a gentle range designed to protect against harsh conditions such as fatigue, UV rays, pollution and signs of ageing.

"We have noticed an increased interest in spa treatments from our male guests, as well as from weekend visitors to the resort. I see a very bright future for the spa business at Al Aqah and the new range ensures we stay up-to-date with what the market wants," said Patel.
