SiGMA has been selected as the preferred camera to equip the Mobile Surveillance Units (MSUs) which it supplies for the protection of national borders and for the protection of sensitive and high-value installations.

It features the latest high-reliability integrated detector¡Vcooler assembly with staring focal plane array, providing high-performance passive infrared imaging in day, night and poor visibility, for land, sea and airborne military operations.

The SiGMA thermal imaging camera features electronic pan and zoom with freeze frame. It has extensive graphics capabilities, including colour video and graphics, electronic bore sight correction, spatial and temporal filters and has extensive built in test and data logging capability.

SiGMA's overall dimensions are 175mm x 130mm x 100mm. It weighs less than 4 kg and consumes only 20 watts of power. It operates in the 3-5 or 8-10 ƒÝm bands and has a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels. SiGMA uses an RS422 interface for ease of integration and can operate in temperatures of -33C to +55C.
