Dubailand is showcasing 17 of its world-class attractions at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2009, the region's leading travel and tourism exhibition for industry professionals, which opened on 5 May and will run until 8 May at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Universal Studios Dubailand will be one of the key attractions at Dubailand and offer visitors an extraordinary opportunity to literally Ride The Movies. The park's awe-inspiring rides and attractions will feature state-of-the-art technology and leading edge special effects designed to transport visitors into the middle of their favorite blockbuster motion pictures. The world-renowned theme park will bring the magic of movies to the Middle East.
The Tiger Woods Dubai, featuring Al Ruwaya - the world's first golf course created by Tiger Woods Design, is taking shape in Dubailand. The landmark destination continues to progress with the completion of bulk earth works, 1,800 trees already planted on the golf course and a further 6,000 in the nursery. Grassing on the fairways is also underway and completed on holes four and five.
When fully operational Al Ruwaya will be among the world's most challenging courses set in an elegant and impeccably designed environment.
Global Village, the region's premier cultural, entertainment and shopping destination, celebrates diverse cultures, art, theatre, commerce and cuisine from around the world and welcomes more than 4m guests per year. Each season Global Village delivers a wide spectrum of innovative new shows and attractions in the heart of Dubailand.
Dubailand has also signed strategic alliances with some of the world's legendary entertainment brands to design and build world-class theme parks at the destination including Marvel Dubailand, Dreamworks Dubailand, Six Flags Dubailand, Legoland Dubailand, and Freej Dubailand.
In addition, Dubailand will be home to a host of remarkable experiences including Lifestyle City, City of Arabia, Dubai Golf City, Al Barari, and The Palmarosa, all in various stages of development.
In its ongoing efforts to elevate tourism in the region, Dubailand has recently signed a strategic marketing partnership with Royal Caribbean, which is expected to provide a substantial boost to the cruise industry and increase traffic to Dubailand attractions. The agreement promotes the development, growth and commercial success of the two brands through joint marketing and promotional activities in key global source markets.
Royal Caribbean will feature Dubailand's key live attractions in their shore excursion programmes, while Dubailand will actively promote Royal Caribbean's Dubai cruises through their global agency network.
Dubailand is rapidly emerging as the premier entertainment destination in the region and a crucial component of Destination Dubai.
