- PRESS RELEASE
During this year's Arabian Travel Market (ATM), for the first time ever the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) have partnered with a larger Hong Kong delegation of 22 companies which include 8 hotel properties, 12 ground handling operators as well as the Ngong Ping 360 Ltd and Trans-Island Limousine Service Ltd.
"The beauty of Hong Kong for visitors from the GCC is that it provides visa free entry for over 170 nationalities and offers exciting attractions and activities for all the family," said Simon Mills, Director of Marketing for Europe and the Middle East.
"The Muslim population of Hong Kong is over 80000, and so it is becoming more attractive for the Arab travelers from this region as it caters for their every need - from Halal restaurants to an increasing number of Mosques around every corner," he added.
Having established a permanent base in Dubai's Media City, the Hong Kong Tourism Board is now easily available to the region's travel industry.
