MV Aurora on a maiden voyage to Dubai

Dubai Cruise Terminal, which is operated by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), will welcome 1,800 British and Australian passengers of MV Aurora, a British cruise liner who will be making its maiden voyage to the emirate on Saturday, 22nd March 2003.

The luxury ship also carrying about 850-crew will be arriving to emirate from Mumbai. 'Such a large number of passengers on board, indicates that the emirate is pacing up to become a popular cruise destination on the world map,' said Mr. Awadh Al Seghayer, Acting Manager Dubai Cruise Terminal.

The passengers on board will visit the tourist places of the emirate. They will be offered a broad picture of Dubai as an all purpose destination. This is the largest number of cruise passengers in the last one and a half year. Many more cruise calls are scheduled to be made in this season to the emirate.
