The initiative comes as the next step in Al Mazaya's efforts to support the gifted youth and their projects in a professional fashion, following the company's launch of "The Kuwaiti Creative Zone", which aims to support the Kuwaiti youth.
Al Mazaya earlier organized a field trip for the students to 7 Zones Design Center to give them a closer look at the Design Center so they are able to come up with designs that are in line with the spirit of the complex and its vision of creativity. A special evaluation committee was formed to evaluate projects delivered by the students. The committee comprises Eng. Khalid Esbaitah, CEO, Mazaya Holding, Eng. Salwa Malhas, Executive vice President, Mazaya Operations, Jasem Al Ghanim, AVP Sales & marketing, Arch. Dalal Al Bannay, Deputy Project Manager and Yousef Al Baijan, Marketing Manager.
Arch. Dalal Al Bannay, Deputy Project Manager, said:
"The 7 Zones Design Center is a place where innovative and aesthetic designs from the biggest international brands are showcased under one roof, as well as a place where talented youth, especially the Kuwaiti ones, can express their creativity and have their skills honed and directed into the correct direction."
"23 candidates are competing to grab the ultimate prize, and we'll make sure to pick the best design. Designs will be evaluated based on innovation and creativity, originality, clarity of design, aesthetic aspects, form and presentation, and coherence with 7 Zones concepts".
7 Zones Design Center is a concept undertaken by Al Mazaya to create a breathtaking design center that caters to the needs of the consumers by having a 'depot of diversity' under one roof. The design center has been exclusively designed to provide rentable showrooms and office spaces to leading related companies with an emphasis on high-end brands. Allocating specific zones on the ground floor and office space for interior designers, contractors and consultants on the mezzanine gives the design center a competitive advantage to host all the necessities under one roof.
