Coral International Cape Town nears completion

Owned by Cii Hotel & Resorts Cape Town (Pty) Ltd a subsidiary of Cii Holdings (Pty) Ltd., it is an ultra-luxurious property brilliantly located in the heart of the city 20 minutes drive from Cape Town International Airport.

Making the announcement, Group CEO for Cii Holdings, Mr Hamza Farooqui, said, "We are proud to say that Coral International Cape Town will be open as planned well in advance of 2010 FIFA World Cup. Cii Holdings is a leading business house specialising in property, finance, technology and broadcasting. The hotel has been under construction since the first quarter of 2007 and has been built at a cost of $30m.

South Africa continues to be a major attraction for tourists. Foreign visitor numbers for 2008 showed substantial increase from the 2007 figures. Tourist spending was also up in the country with business tourism numbers shooting up sharply.
