Suzuki Saudia hosts technical training on Celerio model for Middle East after-sales representatives

Suzuki Saudia, the sole distributor of Suzuki vehicles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and part of Bamarouf Group, hosted special technical training sessions for Suzuki's Middle Eastern after-sales group recently at the Suzuki Saudia's training center in Al-Khomrah, Jeddah.

The three-day training exposed participants from all ME mostly from Lebanon, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Emirates and Yemen dealerships to theoretical and practical details on the Suzuki Celerio, which will be launched in the KSA in May 2009.

Suzuki Saudia covered all training expenses and also gave the trainees an entertainment tour around Jeddah. Mr. Sandeep Kumar, Deputy Service Manager of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., acted as the main trainer.

Engineer Osama Morshedi, After Sales Services General Manager of Suzuki Saudia, said:
"It's very important for Suzuki that it's after sales team gain full knowledge of the products they sell, so that they can determine how each model satisfies particular customer requirements. Training is especially significant prior to launch, so that the impact of a new model for a particular market is properly understood, promoted, and supported."


The Celerio is a full-option hatchback which includes a radio, CD and MP3 player; double airbags; an anti-lock breaking system; Foig Lamps; Alloy Wheels; Remote Control and power steering. The new model, which is being manufactured by Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., one of Suzuki Motors Corp. manufacturing plants, features a stylish design targeted towards younger drivers. The highly fuel-efficient Celerio is powered by a state-of-the-art and lightweight K10B engine. Aside from its intended youthful base, the vehicle is expected to attract buyers searching for high performance, attractive design, and fuel economy.
