Omani appointed Sales Manager at Radisson SAS Hotel, Muscat

Fahad Al Wahaibi, a young and enterprising Omani national has been promoted to the position of Sales Manager at the Radisson SAS Hotel, Muscat.

The 23-year-old has joined the Sales & Marketing team at the first class hotel, headed by Marc Fletcher, Director of Sales & Marketing.

Fahad's promotion to this position has followed a long and dedicated career with the Muscat hotel. His rise has been dramatic over the past three years and his entry position was in the food and beverage department. After completing his higher secondary he chose to join the National Hospitality Institute to learn Business Administration and Hotel & Restaurant service.

"I anticipated the need for hospitality professionals in Oman and hard work and dedication has reaped results for me. I am still young and have other goals to attain and I hope I can set an example for young aspiring Omanis. ", said Fahad.

His wealth of experience at the hotel includes time as a restaurant supervisor and cross training at the Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel in Bahrain. Later on he was appointed as Manager at three of the hotel's food and beverage outlets.

"We like to develop and promote from within the company and I am certain that Fahad will be an asset to our department," said Marc Fletcher, Director of Sales & Marketing at the Radisson SAS Hotel.
