Virgin Atlantic wins award for best premium economy in the Middle East

Virgin Atlantic Dubai celebrated a proud moment at the Business Traveler Awards held on 04th May 2009, when it collected the award for Best Premium Economy in the Middle East.

Amongst the short list were British Airways, Qantas along with Virgin Atlantic.

Since launching flights between Dubai and London in March 2006, Virgin Atlantic has continued to increase market share on the route.

Andrew Fyfe - Regional Manager Middle East for Virgin Atlantic said,

"It's simply a fantastic achievement to be voted by frequent travelers for having the best Premium Economy cabin and we are delighted to win this award with just 3 years into our operations. The award is doubly significant as the airline is celebrating its 25th birthday this year - since it was first launched in 1984."
