Bin Sulayem discusses bilateral relations with Romanian delegation

The Director General of Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), Mr. Khalid A bin Sulayem, on Wednesday met a high-level delegation from Romania led by Minister of Tourism, Mrs. Elena Udrea, and discussed a wide range of issues, including ways of enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation in tourism domain.
The Romanian team was in Dubai to participate in the 16th edition of Arabian Travel Market (ATM) being held under the auspices of DTCM.
Mr. bin Sulayem briefed the visitors about the growth and development of Dubai and its tourism industry and various initiatives launched by the DTCM to boost the contribution of tourism to the economy and number of visitors to the emirate.
Both sides exchanged views about enhancing cooperation and expertise in the field of tourism and strengthening relations between Romania and Dubai.

DTCM is the principal authority for the development of tourism in Dubai, one of the world's most popular destinations. Established in 1997, it is the sole licensing body for the hotel establishments and tourism-related businesses. Its supervisory role covers heritage sites, cruise terminal and convention bureau.
