The membership, according to Int@j, builds on the association's efforts to advance Jordan's technology industry and develop the country's technology focused human capital. Raed Bilbessi, from Int@j said: "By having ACCPAC as members in Int@j, we bring exciting opportunities to Jordanian software developers as well as small to medium businesses in the country, thanks to ACCPAC's business model and its software architecture."

ACCPAC offers global business management applications including solutions for accounting, CRM, HR, Warehouse Management, Point-of-Sale and Manufacturing among others. With a go-to-market model that relies on certified solution providers and an architecture that allows for customization, integration and Arabization, ACCPAC supports the Jordanian software industry by creating opportunities for them to build on ACCPAC solutions and expand into vertical markets. In the last few years, ACCPAC and its Jordan based business partner, CATS, introduced ACCPAC-based accounting-courses to Al Isra University, and delivered ACCPAC business management applications to a wide variety of both private and government organizations throughout Jordan.

"Our local market has always been striving for best of breed solutions combined with best of class services," says Hatem Salah, UBA general manager, an Amman-based ACCPAC business partner. "Local Jordanian firms in general tend to feel more secure and put greater trust in solutions providers when these are backed by strong international players. It is ACCPAC's continued commitment to Jordan and the Middle East in general and its support to its business partners that creates our competitive edge, drives the trust of ACCPAC clients in us, and helps us grow our business."

Raed Bilbessi from Int@j further said: "Particularly of interest to us and the software industry that Jordan is determined to build is the fact that ACCPAC takes our industry to the world through its network of business partners. Jordan-based ACCPAC partners can become part of an international community that exchanges knowledge and business and this is the exposure that we need." Software integrators who are ACCPAC business partners are part of a global software development community that leverages cross regional knowledge and business development.

Mar Van der Ven, General Manager for ACCPAC Middle East, ends: "Jordan's competitive edge is in its human resources and their ability to bring a value-add to technology through customization, integration, Arabization and other software related services. Int@j is the body that can help create these opportunities, build Jordan's capabilities and increase the credibility of its businesses and environment on the global stage. This is also where ACCPAC and Int@j meet. We have been very active in the Jordanian market and with the Int@j membership, we plan to cement this expansion."
