Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to chair the second meeting of Abu Dhabi University Board of Trustees today

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and President of ADU's Board of Trustees will chair the second meeting of ADU's Board of Trustees today at Al Nakheel Palace.
Ali Saeed Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, the ADU Chairman of the Executive Board noted that the board of trustees is going to discuss a number of topics related to the future plans of the university such as launching a strategy for scientific research and linking the scientific research projects and their outcomes to the national development needs in Abu Dhabi and the country. The Board of Trustees will also be looking into the latest developments regarding the university project related to managing a beneficiary fund which will support scientific and research projects in cooperation with the business sector in Abu Dhabi.
The Board of Trustees will also be discussing a suggested plan of establishing Abu Dhabi University centre for businessmen which is going to be the first of its kind in the country, and aims to prepare and develop the necessary skills for youth to commence their own small business enterprises, and providing them with a logistic and academic support in cooperation with the world's most prestigious academies specialized in preparing businessmen over the world, and a number of domestic establishments from the country.
Bin Harmal added that the Board of Trustees will also look into the annual report of the university, and will endorse the names of the second graduate batch.
Bin Harmal noted that H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and President of the University of Abu Dhabi Board of Trustees instructed to add two new members to the Board of Trustees and they are Saeed Eid Al Ghafli, Chairman of Sorouh, and Abdul Hameed Saeed, First Gulf Bank CE.
