80 celebrated designers to charm Dubai at The Woman Boutique Show 2009

The attraction of the show is the bevy of leading fashion designers and lifestyle experts under a common umbrella that also brings them in direct contact with their customer.

Leading designers from UAE, India, Pakistan and GCC countries, with the likes of Rocky S, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Joelle, Anita Dongre, Niki Mahajan, Ash Kumar, Shehnaz Hussain, Walid Atallah, Azza Al Qubaisi, Reem and Hind Ali Beljafla, Ghalia Al Abbas, Maria B, Buffi Jashanmal, Rabia Z, AMATO, Falguni and Shane Peacock, Mariam Al Mazro, Nikki & Nina, Maheen Khan among others are going to be exhibiting at the event.

A show which is unique to the region; Woman Boutique Show offers accessibility to luxury brands and designers, showcasing talent, and achieve collaborations with like-minded individuals on new ventures or to expand an existing business. Aspiring and established professionals providing design and lifestyle products and services are heading to Dubai from different parts of the world for the show.

"The current economic scenario calls for initiative and action," says Meghna Kothari of Red Orange events, who have brought the concept of the Woman Boutique Show to fruition.

The women of the world are playing an increasing role in contributing to the economy and Kothari is thrilled at the enthusiasm women have shown to convert their talent or business acumen into a successful enterprise.

"The response to the show is overwhelming, how one simple idea can find expression through so many women," she says.

The Woman Boutique Show will be held at the Madinat Jumeirah Arena in Dubai from the 14th to 16th of May 2009 from 1pm to 10pm on Thursday, 2pm-10pm on Friday and 11am-10pm on Saturday.
