Saraya Aqaba showcases it's project at Propertylink 2009

Saraya Aqaba welcomes dignitaries, guests and interested visitors to its stand in Propertylink 2009, which is a premium international platform for property and real estate leaders from Jordan and the region, taking place in Zara Expo in the period from May 10th - 13th, 2009.

Saraya Aqaba's will be occupying one of the prime locations within the exhibition, where the model of the Saraya Aqaba mixed-use destination will be displayed in its distinguished booth Hall A / 110 showcasing the main components of the project and a glimpse of what this destination .

During the conference taking place during the exhibition, Mr. "Shadi Ramzi" Majali, the General Manager of Saraya Aqaba will discuss Saraya Aqaba as a destination in his speech within the session titled "Aqaba as a Free Zone and Its Investment Opportunities", where he will highlight the features of the project as well as a variety of updates and developments, including the progress on ground.

In addition, Majali will also talk about the different corporate social responsibility programs that Saraya Aqaba adopts in its efforts to support the city of Aqaba.

Commenting on Saraya Aqaba's participation in Propertylink 2009, Majali said:

"Propertylink is considered to be one of the most significant real estate conferences and exhibitions in the Kingdom. It is a great opportunity for investors and real estate developers to showcase their projects and update the different interested parties about their new developments. We were keen this year to participate in the exhibition due to the successes that we have achieved in its previous years."


As a mixed use destination situated on the northern tip of the Red Sea, Saraya Aqaba features a number of luxurious residential units, a retail area (Souk Saraya), five 5-star hotels and two boutique hotels operated by the world's leaders in hospitality, namely; Jumeirah, Starwood and Nikki Beach.

State-of-the-art entertainment facilities, an amphitheater, a sports complex and a Water Park operated by Jumeirah (Wild Wadi) also feature in the destination. Saraya Aqaba also includes a conference centre that caters for over 2,000 people and office space as well as a man-made lagoon that will be adding 1.5km to the beach front of the city of Aqaba.

About Saraya Aqaba:
Saraya Aqaba is Saraya's first destination, located on the western tip of Aqaba in Jordan, on the northern shores, around a man-made lagoon. The project comprises approximately 634,000 sqm of master planned development combining shopping "Souk Saraya", dining, entertainment, hotels, freehold accommodation and cultural activities within the context of an authentically styled ancient city.
