DTCM DG lauds public and private sectors co-operation

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) in a meeting with the hotel and hotel apartment group appreciated the cooperation between public and private sectors in promoting Dubai as an overall destination.
"We appreciate the support and co-operation of the private sector, which we have received in these years in marketing Dubai regionally as well as internationally," said Mr. bin Sulayem.
The attendees applauded His Highness General, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, UAE Defense Minister and Chairman of the DTCM for his vision, which has led Dubai to register the highest tourism growth in the world.
"This recent achievement confirms our commitment towards boosting inward tourism and also affirms the increase in the number of visitors to Dubai in recent years," said Mr. bin Sulayem.
Group co-coordinators presented their reports, which were discussed in length. The attendees also talked about the electronic link between Dubai Police and hotel establishments of the emirate. They were given up-to date information about new developments in the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
The meeting was attended by the DTCM Director Operations and Marketing Mohammed Khamis bin Hareb and other officials from the department as well as members of the hotel and hotel apartment group.
