Nakheel Hotels this week collected the award for the Middle East's Leading Overseas Development Company at the World Travel Awards Middle East, held at The Monarch, Dubai.

Nakheel Hotels' global property portfolio comprises 25 hotels across 18 countries with a total of 12,260 hotel rooms. Nakheel Hotels is currently redeveloping the historic Hotel Washington into otelHotWashington DC's first W hotel, set to open this year; two more W projects in Thailand; and the historic Corinthia Metropole in London's West End. In the past six months Nakheel Hotels completed the expansion of the Djibouti Palace Kempinski, Djibouti's first five-star hotel; and recently opened the One & Only Cape Town, located at Cape Town's world famous harbor, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, owned by Dubai World.
