Sony Gulf unveils wearable 'Headphone-Style' W-series Walkman

Weighing 36g, the new 2GB MP3 player allows users to 'wear their music' and enjoy their freedom from wires. The sleek modular wearing style wireless headphone is available in three salient colours - black, white and pink.

Extremely light, trendy and compact, the hands-free gadget allows users to carry out their everyday tasks even while continuing to enjoy their music. Offering remarkable music playback capability, the aesthetically designed player is particularly convenient while exercising or indulging in outdoor activities such as cycling, rock climbing or even while participating in a triathlon.

Embedded with the newly established Zappin navigation system and Jog Dial, the new Walkman W-series MP3 player allows convenient and intuitive operation. The Zappin playback feature is activated with a press and hold of the Jog Dial, playing only the main chorus of each song in the music library.

This allows a quick scan of the playlists for selecting the desired song by simply listening, without having to view a display screen to navigate through tracks. The Jog Dial extends easy play, stop or skip track features with a touch of the dial.

The Walkman W-series allows users to enjoy up to 12 hours of non-stop music, as it holds long battery life with only a 1.5 hour charge. Users on-the-go will also benefit from the three minute quick charge function that allows the device to playback up to 90 minutes of music. Additionally, different size earphone buds are provided with the main unit to offer a perfect fit.
