Earlier in March, Volvo Cars Middle East concluded a similar agreement in Kuwait and they are still negotiating this deal with several Insurance companies in the GCC.

Roula Beiruty, Marketing Manager of Volvo Cars Middle East, commented:
"I would like to thank Bahrain National Insurance for reducing the insurance premium on the safest car ever made by Volvo."

Beiruty added, "The deal we concluded with Bahrain National Insurance will give all Volvo purchasers in Bahrain the opportunity to choose between 2 insurance options when they buy the New Volvo XC60. All purchasers can get a lower premium by 2.8% or 3%."

T. V. Jacob Senior Manager, Motor and Personal Lines at BNI, commented, "We are happy to join forces with Volvo Cars Middle East. The Volvo XC60 is a new design language by Volvo with the latest automobile technologies in road safety therefore we are giving the purchasers the opportunity to choose between 2 Insurance options. The first option will grant them a 3% lower premium with standard comprehensive, 12 days car replacement and road assistance. Or they could go for the 2.8% lower premium with Standard Comprehensive only."

The Volvo XC60 is witnessing increasing demand in the GCC and the UAE, as it is so far the safest car ever built by Volvo combined with a bold and muscular design. The XC60 is competing with all the other car brands in its range as it offers unique technology for avoiding low-speed collisions in city traffic. This City Safety feature in combination with the recently introduced Collision Warning with Auto Brake means that Volvo Cars can now offer functions for auto-braking at all speeds. With all those offerings is it no surprise that we will see more XC60s on the roads from now on.
