Over one hundred thousand members of the travel industry across the globe voted the 128-acre resort as the Leading Golf Resort in both Dubai and the Middle East.
It was also the first year that the resort received the World Travel Award for 'UAE's Leading Hideaway Resort', which is a testament to the extraordinary array of facilities at the resort which makes for a world-class holiday getaway.
David Thomson, General Manager of the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa said he was delighted to receive the honours.
"While it's of course a highlight to have the Leading Golf Resort awards once again, we're thrilled with the addition of a new award, that of UAE's Leading Hideaway Resort. The 128-acre Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa features two hotels, namely the original Jebel Ali Hotel and the luxurious Palm Tree Court & Spa, a member of 'The Leading Hotels of the World'.
In addition to its 9-hole championship standard golf course, the resort also comprises an 800 metre private beach, three swimming pools, spa, horse riding stables, 80-berth marina for fishing trips and boat charters.
