French quality at Airport show in Dubai 2009

Thirteen French companies covering a wide spectrum of the airport and aviation industries have signed up to exhibit within the french pavilion Ubifrance at the 'Airport Show' that will take place in Dubai from May 19 to 21, 2009.

The French pavilion, managed by Ubifrance - the French Agency For International Business Development, will showcase advanced equipments, services and know how from prominent French groups (Air France, Thalès, Egis Avia) and also, from cutting edge French small and medium companies (Ateme, Blue Eye Video, Caddie, Deschamps, Gate, IER, Lord Ingenierie, Opened Mind, Resa and Usimat-Sermees).

French exhibitors are coming to the United Arab Emirates to participate in the region's growing needs for airport infrastructure, a sector that has relatively well weathered the crisis. (French trade commission - Ubifrance -Dubai)

Considered to be leaders in airport and aviation sectors in Europe, and for some worldwide, the french companies will showcase their know-how and a wide range of innovative products and technologies within Ubifrance pavilion.

Sophie Issovits, Ubifrance pavilion organizer, says:

'the Middle-East, Africa and the Indian sub-continent are important business targets for french companies due to the huge and multi-facet projects in airport development and expansion. Businesses and investments worth billions are at stake, with figures close to $40bn in the region. Due to their well-known experience and innovations, french companies will seize the opportunity of their presence at one of the world's largest airport industry exhibitions to establish business contacts and market their services and products to take part in the numerous projects in the region'


Ubifrance - the French agency for international business development is a key force in the public programme for export support. Ubifrance promotes French products, services and technical expertise throughout worldwide events. The Airport show Dubai 2009 is an example of a worldwide event.

Among the products, services and innovations to be showcased by the 13 French companies; Deschamps Aircraft Recovery Solutions Provider will exhibit, along with Mobi-Mat And Darc lifting bags, its new products like Dollies and new lifting equipments. Deschamps is offering a wide range of possibilities for Aircraft Recovery Training.

CADDIE will exhibit the latest generation of the CADDIE AIR SYSTEM package, which comprises multi-rail trolley pay and pick stations, an extensive and evolutionary IT (allowing trolley tracking, user stats, maintenance survey...) combined with a unique design, making it state of the art technology on the market. Gate offers a full range of ground support equipment: Air start Unit - Air Conditioning Unit - Catering Trucks - Passenger Steps, Convoyer Belt, Baggage Tractor, Towbars, Pallet Dollies, Container Dollies and more.

IER is the leading supplier of passenger and baggage processing solutions provides innovative solutions to process and optimize the management of passengers and baggage. It proposes a new range of solutions designed to automate and secure baggage drop-off operations and security controls at boarding.
