Capelec will present series CAP3200, its new emission testing equipment, at the Automechanika Dubai show (Hall 3 Stand 413).

Its expertise in the infrared measurement of gas, the measurement of opacity and engine speed (rpm) is widely acknowledged. Present in more than 30 countries, Capelec is a key player in global vehicle inspection equipment.

CAP3200, its new range, includes gas analysers and smokemeters used in vehicle inspection. They measure gas and smoke emissions of any petrol or diesel engines. This modular range is especially suitable for heavy-duty use, so much so that it has become a benchmark in the field of vehicle inspection.

These equipments feature a simple and functional user interface that is easy to read from a distance. They include both an interactive keyboard and a compact keyboard, an LCD screen and a thermal printer. They come in a standard version, a premium version (with PC included) and a Bluetooth version.

The gas analyser can measure 4 class 0 gases: CO, CO2, HCs, O2 and optionally NOx. The smokemeter is used to control the smokes of diesel engines in light and heavy goods vehicles. It fully respects the opacity inspection procedure used in vehicle inspection centres. Similarly, it follows the opacity determination procedure used in repair shops. These equipments are also available as combined units : gas analyser and smokemeter.
