STC offers 40% discount on SMS and MMS "My Group" subscribers

STC offered up to 40% discounts to "My group" subscribers in SMS and MMS being sent between friends, colleagues or even family members groups at a cost of 15 Halalas per SMS and 40 Halalas for MMS.

"My Group" is an exclusive unique service for STC customers. The activation of the service is free of charge and the monthly subscription is as low as SR5 per month, in addition to the benefit of privacy in answering the needs of individual customer or a whole group. This service also unique due to the ease of sending messages between different groups with the lowest rates possible.

With "My Group" service, STC customers can establish five special groups, in addition to the choice of adding 20 customers to each group. After establishing the group, the Customer can send SMS and MMS to all members of the group in one process.

The 40% discount will be taken off the message rate once the customer sends messages for whole group in one process instead of sending a message to each member. Any member can reply to the whole group by sending one message to the group's number.

"My Group" service enables the group establisher to send invitations to other customers. The service also enables the receiver of the invitation to accept or decline the invitation; it also enables the customer from inquiring about the group he will subscribe to and enables the group establisher to add or delete any member of the group.
