The airport is already accepting aircraft, providing full Fixed Based Operator services (FBO) and upgraded facilities at the new terminal including aircraft parking and maintenance spaces for more than 50 aircrafts. The airport is currently in final stages of undergoing UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) certification.
The luxurious airport which is being designed to be of the highest standards will also feature four premium lounges, first-class catering, quick and efficient turnaround times and the highest quality of passenger services.
In this regard, Mohammed Al Bulooki, Vice President of Airline Marketing and Aeronautical Revenue at ADAC, stated:
"ADAC is delighted to showcase this premium facility for business jets at European Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition. We are very proud of Al Bateen Executive Airport, and we know there is increasing demand for the type of facility that we offer with our exclusive business jet airport. The airport also offers aircraft travelling between Europe and Asia the ideal stop for maintenance and refueling."
"Our message to private jets travellers is 'you not only have your own aircraft, but a new luxurious airport to meet with your business demands'", he added.
ADAC is in the process of upgrading its facilities to the tune of Dhs200m in order to meet the increasing needs of the private and business jet market within the region. Existing operators, already operating out of the airport, include Falcon Aviation and Prestige Jet, two of a number of corporate jet companies that are meeting the increase in demand for private aviation as they continue to add aircraft to their existing fleet.
Future developments at the airport include securing additional airport land to create new airside, landside, and facility space. ADAC will manage the Dhs200m ($55m) investment to upgrade the airfield, which will include the acquiring of new equipment, improvements to the terminal as well as landside access and parking.
