Mohammad Abdullah, Executive Director, Dubai Media City, who is leading the initiative, said:
"The Business Sustainability and Support Centre initiative demonstrates our commitment to be a real partner to businesses based at Tecom. This service is aimed at enabling companies to surmount the most challenging issues during tough market conditions. The response we have received from our business partners to the initial round of consultancy sessions has so far been very encouraging."
Tecom-registered companies including Al Tamimi & Company, Biz-Ability FZ LLC, CORE, Deloitte, Flagship Project Marketing, Monitor Group Ltd, Omnia, Oliver Wymen, Starcom Mediavest Group, The Core Group, Therightslawyers and Value Partners, are offering strategic advice in finance, marketing, legal affairs and human resources, as well as strategy and operations to business partners.

Declan McCluskey, General Manager, Biz-Ability, said: "The initiative undertaken by Tecom Investments marks a positive step in supporting their business partners during challenging times. During the sessions so far, I have met companies operating in various areas that face a diverse range of issues. The feedback has been extremely positive as each of them has received detailed consultancy, with many of them amazed that we have allocated this time at no extra cost. We consider this a great way for us to support the companies across Tecom clusters, and encourage more companies to take advantage of this outstanding opportunity."
Some of the sessions offered by the Business Sustainability and Support Centre also extend to maximizing human resource capabilities, while offering valuable tips on strategy and operations for ensuring enhanced productivity. The centre additionally extends legal consultancy on issues such as selling company stakes, dealing with pending or outstanding payments, and employee disputes.
