This will be the second year IEC has held the prestigious print technology showcase at the Dubai Airport Expo venue. The new venue received an overwhelming response from the exhibitors and visitors.

"After the success of this year's Sign and Graphic Imaging Middle East exhibition at Dubai Airport Expo, we received a lot of positive feedback from our exhibitors and visitors alike about the new venue. As per our official survey about the venue choice for SGI 2010, the most popular choice for the 12th edition of Sign and Graphic Imaging Middle East was Dubai Airport Expo,"

said Abdul Rehman Falaknaz, President of IEC.

The IEC poll saw the Dubai Airport Expo venue receive more than 90% of votes, due to the following reasons: Exclusivity of venue, ample parking, less traffic in and around the venue, close proximity to the airport and availability of nearby hotels. Exhibitors also cited the fact that Dubai Airport Expo attracted visitors only from the industry hence had a good number of serious and quality visitors.

Talking about their successful participation in the show, 2009 exhibitors all praised the show and organizers.

"The show was very well organized and positioned itself to be one of the best in the region attracting more quality visitors. We had a positive response and a great volume of business was generated during the show," said Kunal Avari, Regional LFP Business Manager, HP.

"I have personally been participating with SGI for 11 years now. The show has always been worth the investment for me. This year the world has been hit with an economic slowdown. Nonetheless, the number of real deals and potential deals has not slowed down for us over last year. This tells me that the show organizers know how to advertise and promote the show very well and effectively. I look forward to year 12 with SGI," said Abdallah Ghalayini, Regional Managing Director ME & A, Gandinnovations.

SGI 2010 will showcase the latest products and emerging technologies from the industries of Advertising, Architectural Hardware, Banners & Posters, Digital Imaging, Electronic Message Centres, Electronic Signage, Graphic Imaging, Graphic Services, Large Format Printing, and Signage.

SGI 2010 will focus on more visibility and branding opportunities for exhibitors adding to their overall exposure at the show.

The show is supported by the Advertising Section of Dubai Municipality.
