Al Sorayai Group participates in Domotex Middle East 2009

Al Sorayai Trading Industrial Group, one of the leading carpet manufacturers in the region and the 17th largest in the world, has announced its participation in Domotex Middle East.
Al Sorayai, which prides itself on being up to date with the latest technologies in carpet and mockett manufacturing, will introduce new state-of-the-art sewing machines, and will illustrate the production of mockett tiles through the latest available technologies.
The group will also showcase an array of its distinctive textile products in order to prove the superiority of Arab products over other international offerings.
According to Mr. Salih Nasir Al Sorayai, Managing Director of Al Sorayai Trading Industrial Group, carpet manufacturing is increasingly becoming an industry that requires companies to stay up to date with the latest international technologies in order to cater to the needs of customers on a local and international level, and this event provides an ideal opportunity for the group to showcase its latest designs and technologies.
He emphasized that the group has made great progress in terms of technical development and human resources during the company's successful 55-year run.
The Al Sorayai carpet manufacturing factory was established in November 1987 and immediately started production of 4m square meters of carpet. Today, the factory produces 75m square meters of carpet and mockett, which gives the group the ability to compete on a global level, and cater to the needs of local and international markets.
Furthermore, 75% of raw materials are being produced in local factories in the country, giving the factory an edge.
Al Sorayai Trading Industrial Group exports its products to more than 65 counties around the world, including the biggest global manufacturing countries.
A particular point of pride is that numerous government establishments, including the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and the Industrial Development Fund, have continually supported the carpet manufacturing industry in the country.

The company established its first carpet and rug manufacturing plant in 1987, to cope with increasing market demand. The company opened several plants, the most prominent of which is Jeddah Industrial Yarn Factory (JIYFCO), which produces polypropylene and nylon yarn in addition to a wide collection of trendy colored yarn besides plain white nylon for printed carpets
With constant commitment to upgrade its industrial premises and adopt the latest technologies, the company was testified by ISO 9001 - 2000, a testimonial of the high standards and quality applied in its production process.
