About Abu Dhabi Film Commission:

Abu Dhabi Film Commission is a new initiative launched by Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage in January 2009 with an objective of assisting the development of the Film and TV industry in Abu Dhabi, nurturing of new talent and contributing to the promotion of Arab culture through film.

About Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage:

The Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) is the institution in charge of conserving and promoting the heritage and culture of Abu Dhabi. Established in October 2005 as an authority of the Government of Abu Dhabi, it is administered by a board of directors chaired by H. E. Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan.

The creation of ADACH was a direct result of the implementation of the Abu Dhabi Cultural Heritage Management Strategy, a 5-year strategy prepared by a UNESCO-led team working closely with local experts. The Strategy identified the principal issues affecting the development of Abu Dhabi's culture and heritage and laid down goals for its activities.

About The Circle:

The Circle initiative launched in 2007. It's most recent conference held in 2008 featured The Producers Circle, Cloeween Connection and the Shasha Grant were handed out at the conference which featured a keynote address by Twentieth Century Fox Filmed Entertainment Chairman Jim Gianopulos.

About Imagenation Abu Dhabi:

Imagenation Abu Ahabi is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Media Company which was launched on 3 September 2008. The company develops, finances and produces full length fea-ture films and digital content for Arabic and global markets. From its base in Abu Dhabi, the company is establishing partnerships with high-profile, internationally-based producers to develop and create content for distribution internationally, in addition to supporting Middle East filmmakers and Arabian film production.
