Batelco re-launches @ltijara payment gateway

The @ltijara service, which processes hundreds of thousands of transactions a year, is an invaluable tool for merchants to conduct their business on the internet and other electronic channels such as IVR, KIOSK and SMS.

By cooperating with MasterCard International, @ltijara payment gateway is integrated with MasterCard internet Gateway Services, better known as MiGS. The platform was changed to provide a secure and certified solution that is supported by "Verified by Visa" (VbV) and MasterCard SecureCode. The integrated platform of @ltijara with MiGS will enable merchants to have an effective e-payments solution that provides additional security measures. Additionally it facilitates the implementation process of the payment gateway to the various available payment channels such as the KIOSK, IVR & SMS.

Batelco's @ltijara payment gateway, which has been in operation for more than 10 years, was the first payment gateway in the Gulf region.
