Airshow to provide platform for business aviation in Bahrain

BIAS - which is to be held under Royal patronage and organised by Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) for the Kingdom of Bahrain in partnership with UK airshow organiser, Farnborough International Ltd (FIL) - has been masterminded to offer highly exclusive meeting opportunities with buyers and suppliers in the region as well as delegations from around the Middle East.

The show's maximum 40 participating companies will be housed in luxury chalet units, complete with adjoining aircraft parks and also afforded private introductions in the Royal Pavilion.

Demand for space at the show is high with early sign-ups including Rolls-Royce, Bahrain Aerospace, BAE Systems, TAG Aeronautics Ltd, Cessna, Bell Helicopter Textron Inc and recently, Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation.

FIL is currently undergoing talks with other major players from the private, defence and commercial sectors, many of whom are keen to establish a stronger foothold in a region which is being talked about as one of the world's most dynamically performing economies in this time of widespread economic downturn.

FIL Exhibitions & Events Director, Amanda Stainer emphasised the location and exclusivity of BIAS as the unique factors making this show an opportunity not to be missed.
