Abdulla Al Gurg, Project Director, The Tiger Woods Dubai, said:

The Tiger Woods Dubai promises to be a golf experience that epitomizes excellence and meets the highest standards of quality. The development continues to progress with the completion of bulk earth works. 2,243 trees have already been planted on the golf course and a further 6000 are in the nursery.
Furthermore, rough shaping is complete on all 18 holes, 10 of which have been finely shaped. Construction is also complete on the main stream and one of the lakes comprising of the vast 3.3 million sq. ft. of water features incorporated into the golf course.
Work has also commenced on the 132kV electrical substation to be managed by Tatweer's Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, and the Real Estate and Zoning team. To date over 6,500 tons of concrete and 460 tons of steel have been used to raise the structure which will be located on a plot spanning 3,800 sq feet.
All major equipment for the substation is scheduled to be installed shortly within the new building which will feature an appealing external architecture in keeping with the overall design of The Tiger Woods Dubai.
