Dubai Women's College marks 20 years of educational excellence in the presence of key corporate partners, alumnae, staff and students.

The 20th anniversary celebration will showcase DWC's milestones that have had a significant impact in the educational scene in UAE, and have been the hallmark of the long standing mission of Dubai Women's College since its inception in 1989 which is to provide high quality education to UAE women.

His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan will honor outstanding employers, educational institutions, media, DWC partners and graduates with DWC awards and certificates.

On this occasion, Dr. Howard Reed, Director of Dubai Women's College, pointed out that UAE's extraordinary leaders - His Highness President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahayan and His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan, had the wisdom to provide young Emiratis with the opportunity and responsibility to prepare for a new era of development and globalization.

He said:
"These two visionary leaders inspired the DWC Team to educate a new generation of women who will actively participate in building of a new nation."

DWC exploded on the Dubai educational scene by providing young Emirati women with the opportunity to dream bigger dreams, discover new talents, build confidence and 'Practice the Future'.

"These courageous young women changed Dubai more than all of the buildings and roads combined. They changed how Emirati's thought about themselves, and how the rest of the world thought about Emiratis," he concluded.
