Commenting on this signing, Mr. Ibrahim Mahmood, Assistant Vice Chancellor- Business and Administrative Affairs said:
"This agreement is of great importance for us at Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University, We are pleased to join forces with the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation that has a significant humanitarian role in caring for, and guiding minors in their lives."
According to this agreement, the two parties will cooperate in various matters such as scientific, social and cultural activities, as well as organize training courses, conferences and seminars of mutual interest, covering issues related to development within the UAE, with a special focus on the role of the care for minors.
Also by signing this agreement Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University will offer up to 10% discount to learners, who apply through the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation in Dubai.
"This falls in line with the e-University's policy and dedication to effectively contribute to the humanitarian development in the UAE," concluded Ibrahim Mahmood.
On his part, Mr. Khaled Al-Thani, the Acting Secretary General of Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation in Dubai said, "We are proud to have signed this agreement with Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University, through which we look to provide minors who study at HBMeU with the possibility to conduct their training at the e-University. Also according to this agreement, we shall jointly volunteer in charity work, and work on enhancing our relations by all possible means, and through organizing periodic meetings as well as encourage the exchange of publications and report papers."
