The Wave, Muscat celebrates the hand-over of homes to first Omani families

The Wave, Muscat celebrated a new milestone with the hand-over of homes to the first Omani families thereby highlighting its commitment to making the project a truly multicultural community.

The ceremony, attended by Senior Management of The Wave, Muscat, follows several key project development achievements recently. The keys were handed over to the Omani families, who will be part of a thriving neighborhood featuring varied lifestyle amenities.

Commenting on the event, Abdulla Al Shidi, Deputy CEO, The Wave, Muscat said:

"This is a proud moment for The Wave, Muscat, as we are lending further momentum to the evolution of the first multicultural community in the Sultanate. The on-schedule completion of the various milestones of The Wave, Muscat is a reiteration of our commitment to delivering on our promise."


The new families, joining more than 35 other families already living at The Wave, Muscat, expressed their happiness to be part of community which has indeed become a referral point in the development of integrated lifestyle communities in the Sultanate.

Hamyar Al Mahrooqy, one of the new Omani homeowners, said that being part of a milestone of the project has been a delightful experience. "The Wave, Muscat has finally made my dream come true and we look forward to the new lifestyle experience of living in the community that has the beautiful landscape; and of course living close to the beach is something to cherish. Investing at The Wave, Muscat was one of the best decisions that I have ever made," he said.

Said bin Abdullah al Mashari, another homeowner said: "I am indeed proud to receive my new home in this prestigious multicultural community. This reinforces The Wave, Muscat's commitment to help customers realise their dreams of receiving their homes in time despite the challenges. I am looking forward to enjoying my new home with of course the help of the best of the customer care that I have seen from the staff."

The Wave, Muscat is being developed through a joint venture comprising Oman's Waterfront Investments (representing the Government of the Sultanate of Oman), National Investment funds Company (representing the Omani Pension Funds), and the UAE-based Majid Al Futtaim Group.
