DMC signs memorandum of understanding with Barclays Bank

Dr. Bob Richards, Senior Director of HCT and Ms. Amal Al Bayari, Emiratization Manager of Barclays Bank PLC, UAE signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote and enhance the cooperation between Barclays Bank and Dubai Men's College.

The signing of the MoU ensures cooperation between both the parties in various fields such as recruitment, sponsorship, exchange of knowledge and training in the different related fields. The purpose of the MoU signing is to increase both the number of DMC student internships with Barclays and the number of DMC graduates employed by Barclays.

"As Dubai Men's College reaches out to the community, our MoU with Barclays Bank underlines our determination to be 'Best in Class', forging an alliance with a world leader in the banking sector. The partnership will provide our students with a rich opportunity to engage, first hand, in banking and financial services operations, and give them a unique insight into the economic challenges of the future. Barclays Bank and HCT Dubai Men's College look forward to many years of successful collaboration,"said Dr Bob Richards, Senior Director of Dubai Men's College.

"The signing of the MOU with Dubai Men's College is an important step for Barclays to further strengthen its Emiratization drive and our commitment to training and developing UAE nationals. It also reflects our determination to build strategic alliances with regional organizations and institutions to ensure that talented Emiratis are given an opportunity to prove themselves and excel,"


said Amal Albayari.

DMC will encourage its graduates to apply for employment opportunities at Barclays Bank and promote HR related projects and internship for current students.

Barclays will give priority to DMC students / graduates for internship and employment opportunities provided that they meet Barclays' criteria.
