Qatar Tourism and Exhibitions Authority signs MoU with El Salvador

Mr Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Exhibitions Authority and H.E. Marisol Argueta de Barillas, Minister of Foreign Affairs of El Salavador, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to exchange expertise between the two countries in the field of tourism.
The delegation was headed by H.E. Marisol Argueta de Barillas, Minister of Foreign Affairs of El Salavador, accompanied by several high-level officials from El Salvador, including H.E. Victor Manuel Lagos, Ambassador of El Salvador to the State of Qatar.
The delegation was received by Mr Ahmed Abdallah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Qatar Tourism & Exhibitions Authority.
Mr Al Nuaimi discussed with H.E. Marisol Argueta de Barillas bilateral cooperation on tourism between the two countries through the exchange of expertise and training and various investments in the tourism sector.
They discussed the full means of collaboration to raise the interest of Salvadorian people in Qatar and Qatari citizens and residents in El Salvador.
H.E. Mrs Argueta de Barillas praised Qatar's progress in building infrastructure for the future while preserving its past and identity, highlighting the Museum of Islamic Art.
Mr Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, commented : "We are very pleased to have signed this MoU, as it will strengthen the political, economic and cultural relations between our two countries. We are keen to visit El Salvador soon to study the potential investment opportunities and implement activities and events to promote respectively our two destinations."
Located in Central America, El Salvador is a country boasting mountains coated with exuberant tropical forests and white sand beaches. These natural wonders, along with the mild climate, attract an increasing number of visitors, for leisure and business trips.
